I’ve always loved engineering: understanding how things work, solving
real problems, and turning an idea into something people can use. In
my work as a software engineer, that curiosity has taken me across
product engineering for payments, investing, commerce, and digital
banking. I’m especially interested in reliable systems, APIs,
cybersecurity, and making sound technical decisions that serve both
the product and the people who depend on it.
My work doesn’t stop at the software. I mentor and support people
entering or growing in tech because the barrier is not always the
technology itself. Sometimes the difference is knowing there’s
someone you can ask for help—and having the confidence to keep going.
Through Codebar, Women Coding Community, and mentoring, I try to be
that person and help make the path feel more welcoming.
I also speak at meetups and conferences, and write about the things
I’m learning: software engineering, cybersecurity, AI, reliability,
and access to technology. Whether I’m explaining a technical trade-off
or sharing a practical lesson, I want the conversation to be useful,
honest, and something people can carry into their own work.
The kind of technology I want to help build
I believe good technology is technically thoughtful and human-centred.
It should solve a real need, earn people’s trust, and be built by
teams where more people can contribute and thrive. That belief is
the common thread between the systems I build, the ideas I share,
and the communities I’m proud to be part of.
